Barbed Wire Fencing Cost

Many of us wonder how much will cost to fence around their farm. Here is cost calculation per acre.

  1. Lets take 1 acre land i.e 43,560 sq ft . Lets simplify it to 200 ft * 200ft square shaped land = 40,000 Sq ft
  2. Every 8 feet we need to dig a hole and put stone pole. Cost is Rs 150 per pole
  3. 1kg of barbed wire should be sufficient to make 4 rows of wiring between 2 poles.  Rs 100/kg weight basis
  4. Labor cost. 2 Labor can finish 25 pole digging in a day Rs 300 per day * 4 days= Rs 1,200
  5. Wiring around approx 2 days = Rs 600
Side Length(ft) # of poles Pole cost Wire cost Material Cost
East 200 25 150 100 6,250
West 200 25 150 100 6,250
North 200 25 150 100 6,250
South 200 25 150 100 6,250
